Our objective was to investigate the expression of MIS type II receptor (MISR II) and whether MIS can inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis in primary cultures of endometrial stromal cells (ESC) of endometriosis.
Among infertility patients with endometriosis, with and without a history of ovarian surgery, ovarian reserve markers were worse (lower AMH and higher FSH) and a higher proportion had decreased ovarian reserve as measured by AMH compared to women with MF.
We demonstrate that an SNP in the AMH gene is associated with infertility in endometriosis, whereas several SNPs in the GDF-9 gene and the - 482A G SNP in the AMHR2 gene were found to be unrelated.
The levels of circulating human epididymis protein 4 (HE4) and carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), together with AGCT markers inhibin B and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), were measured in 135 samples from AGCT patients, 37 epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) patients, and 40 endometrioma (ENDO) patients.
